Brazil’s favourite distilled beverage by miles is cachaca and this premium bottling is produced from freshly pressed, locally sourced organic sugarcane grown in the hills of Rio de Contas. This is small batch traditionally produced cachaca, but unlike most run of the mill offerings, Abelha allow theirs to age for six months in open top tanks adding complexity to the aromas and flavours, but more importantly giving the finish a wonderful smoothness.
