The second release is part of our gin project which sees us age handcrafted, bespoke recipe gins in carefully sourced ex-wine barrels. The botanicals selected are inspired by the flavours of some of our customer's most highly rated wines. The recipe for this expression was developed at The Henley Distillery with Master Distiller Jake Wilson and aged in an ex-wine barrel, that was previously filled with our McLaren Vale Black Pig Shiraz. A wonderfully balanced gin that has been infused with fruit and spice from time in barrel showing notes of blackcurrant, damsons and spicy white pepper, layered over a core of lovely juniper intensity.
