The Spirit The Spirit
Wales
The recipe used to craft this classy Welsh gin uses a collection of traditional botanicals, that focus on an original London dry style to create juniper forward gin, layered with a citrus edge and a slightly spicy and sweet backbone. It is made in a gentle and respectful way and is a true premium gin and really great value. A go-to for us when making a gin and tonic or negroni and it has the quality and flavour profile to sit happily in any home gin or spirits collection.
The Distillery The Distillery
The village of Abergwyngregyn is home to the Aber Falls distillery, and it sits at the foot of the famous waterfall where it takes its name. This picturesque area attracts an incredible 50,000 plus visitors a year! It was previously a slate works in the 19th century, a margarine factory during the world wars and, more recently, a wholesale drinks depot. Our premises has been lovingly restored and refurbished, providing us with the ideal place to create our spirits and demonstrate the passion and skill in our craftsmanship.
The Perfect Serve The Perfect Serve
This is a twist on a classic gin and tonic, but you don't need a huge amount of extra ingredients or kit. In a cocktail shaker add the juice of half a lemon, a handful of fresh mint leaves and a teaspoon of caster sugar. Muddle these together then pour in 40ml of gin. Add plenty of ice, shake and then strain into a crushed-ice filled tumbler, top up with tonic water (elderflower adds a little extra kick), gently stir and sip away!
