- Made exclusively from Delamain cognacs from Grande Champagne Crus, this is an exquisite exercise in finesse, integration and power.
- It undergoes a second marrying period in barrel, after the eaux-de-vie blend has been crafted.
- This fine Cognac works with dark chocolate but, naturally, is a stunning digestif in the right glass.
- ABV: 42.0%

Delamain Pale and Dry XO Cognac Brandy is crafted exclusively from spirit from Grande Champagne, the first cognac growth. Not only that but those eaux-de-vies are then brought together and aged for a further two years. The Average age of the parts is over 25. And the result has remarkably delicacy and elegance. Expect much finesse with a distinctive floral nose, together with notes of vanilla. The palate is full bodied with fruits and liquorice dominating. Remarkable.
"Delamain's youngest offering, at 20 to 25 years old, is also one of the standard-bearers of Grande Champagne (the blend was created in the 1920s and hasn't changed). Light amber, with a delightful nose full of pear, marmalade, quince and orange blossom. The pear and quince carry onto the palate, where a distinctive membrillo-like flavor emerges - a unique note I find in a number of Delamain expressions. There's gentle spice and warm citrus on the palate, gliding to a long, delicate finish. The definition of elegance. 96 points" - Jason Wilson, Vinous, September 2019.
The Distillery The Distillery
House Delamain's story began way back in 1759 when James Delamain left his birthplace, Ireland, and ended up settling in Jarnac, in what is today the heartbeat of the Cognac region. His son founded the house in 1824 and it remains in the family today and some 20 years ago the Delamain's teamed up with the Bollinger's, of Champagne fame, to take them into the next phase of their existence. Their expressions are exceptionally well balanced and are a benchmark of quality for the whole region.
