Laird and Company began in 1698 when Alexander Laird arrived in New Jersey from his native Scotland. He knew a bit about distilling and the abundance of apples provided an excellent natural resource, and so followed the birth of Applejack. Commercial production began much later with 5th generation, Robert Laird, in 1851 and the production remains in the family's hands today. This is their signature blend which has a rich, deep flavour and is loaded with ripe apple character.
