The 1840 release from Maison Pierre Ferrand is skilfully blended with 5th generation knowhow. It was created exclusively for use in cocktails. It’s bottled with a higher alcohol content, compared to the core range, which adds a little punchiness to it that helps it sing when used in classic cognac cocktails. The extra ABV% doesn’t mean this isn’t smooth, far from it infact, and the natural floral notes of the original white wine are still lifted and expressive. One for the mixologists!
