This blend was put together with winemaker Julien Dugas, using two parcels of grapes from a very special vineyard in the Rhône Valley, neighbouring the famous AOC vineyards of Lirac. The area is so highly regarded that from the 2024 vintage it will become the newest appellation in the Southern Rhône - Laudun - and, as such, is a bit of scoop because that will of course add a premium! It is made up of 60% Grenache Blanc and 40% Viognier and is layered with peach and apricot fruit, lovely peppery spice and an excellent crisp and refreshing finish.

Marlborough Sauvignon is renowned for its impressive aromas, distinctive fruit and appealing balance and pure acidity. Its appeal is unrivalled around the globe. Our Anaru does not dissapoint fans of this style, with super-charged fruit, it's one of the most lip-smacking Sauvignons you can find. The name Twin Pass pays tribute to the double-harvest of the grapes. Rather than just setting a date and picking all the grapes at once, the Viognier grapes are treated to a double-harvest, meaning they are picked on a bunch-by-bunch basis to ensure they are perfectly ripe. This results in a wine bursting with rich stone fruit, peach, and apricot.

After the roaring success of the '16 Little Black Pigs' Pinot Grigio, we thought we'd create a slightly up-scale version of it with the help of Mr Steve Grimley, our man Down Under. Like its junior peer, this wine is full of easy lemon-infused scents and an exuberant, crisp vitality, citrus fruit at its heart, crunchy acidity, long, lively finish - but all with added intensity. We don't want to complicate a good formula, so we haven't.

This little ripper is another superb offering from winemaker David King. A Chardonnay with a ripe tropical nose with citrus undertones. Fresh hints of melon follow on to the palate along with citrus, pear and guava fruits, all balanced by gentle acidity. There is enough weight in this white to stand up to white meat. Chicken thighs marinated in garlic and fresh garden herbs would be ideal.

This blend of grapes is rarely found outside of Australia, and they have become the masters of it. An iconic duo of green, herbaceous Semillon works well with the rounded, soft citrus fruit of Chardonnay. We wanted to create a French wine brand, using a label design that avoided the traditional cues you might expect - grandiose chateaux, gold and silver crests and, of course, medieval font type - were all banned! Our design team worked with a blank canvas (une toile vierge) and this colourful paint brush image captured what our buyer had in mind perfectly. A crisp and refreshing white wine with excellent intensity. Notes of white grapefruit and floral hints mingle before a tangy, mouth-watering finish. Crafted exclusively from Rolle in an engaging and modern style.

Just like our local Skipper, as we were scouring the latest Australian vintage, we came across this small parcel of Sauvignon Blanc. Our own hidden gem! Bright and lively in the glass, a wonderful balance of herbaceous passionfruit, tropical fruit and a zesty finish makes this a delicious tipple for all occasions.

Trying to capture a sense of purpose through a wine name is a tricky one, but when we started this project with Winemaker Lodewyk Botha, we knew that we wanted to focus on what's important when crafting wines with character and substance. We settled on Amava Vines: 'Amava' translates to 'roots' and links to heritage, tradition, and staying connected to one's origins. This multi-varietal white pulls on the individual characters of the varieties to create a joyful, fruit-filled, and complete wine that has a focussed finish with just a little lingering spice. Great chilled on its own or with light dishes.
