The Beer The Beer

Region:It's a fascinating process to make the Rodenbach Grand Cru. Firstly there are two fermentation processes, one quite traditional and the other to introduce bacteria to give the beer its trademark sour twang. The beer is then aged in big oak barrels introducing maturity and complexity. The final blend is about two thirds oak-aged beer and a third young, and the result is a red beer with unrivalled depth and complexity.
