The Pocketbook has a delicately constructed palate from pale malts which plays the supporting role to the buckets of the best hops that are thrown in late for flavour over bitterness. Double dry-hopped with Enigma, Citra and Chinook giving the this pale ale a decidedly American swagger, though brewed in Hackney, North London!

Howling Hops Platform Contest NEIPA

On first inspection you might think "that's a bit odd". Very hazy in the glass, and an almost fruit-juice feel on the palate. But you'll be sure to go back for more and more when you come to realise how awesome the NEIPA style is. The two key things are full body and masses of hops added late for maximum aroma. There's very little bitterness here but the combination of intensely hoppy aromatics with the most full-bodied yet approachable palate really is a thing of beauty.
