Steam is one of the flagship beers at Norwich's gluten-free Redwell brewery. It's a bit of a hybrid, being fermented with lager yeast but at ale fermentation temperatures which results in darker, richer flavours but with a lager-type crispness. Redwell's range is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans so there's little stopping you, whoever you are!

This is a wonderfully fruity Pale Ale made with a combination of American hops that give the beer endless layers of tropical fruit but with a moreish smoothness from the Pale Ale malts that it's brewed from. Very much an all-rounder.

Alcoholic strength has never been so much in the spotlight as it is these days. It's a challenge to make a beer with little to no alcohol that has the right body and balance, but you can lower it to something much more manageable - like 3.5% - without losing anything. Lots of dry hopping gives the King Wazoo the impact of something stronger but you'll be better for it in the morning.
