Argentina
Region:Mendoza - Uco Valley
There are few more dramatic vineyard sites than Tupungato, with its views over the snow-capped Andes. The region lies at the foot of the Mt Tupungato volcano, in the northernmost sub-region of the Uco Valley in Mendoza. The altitude of the vineyards brings clarity of light, water (from snow melt) and clean air, and moderates the high temperatures which are associated with the plains below. This creates the perfect conditions for this wine to showcase concentrated fruit along with exceptional elegance and freshness that other Malbec wines lack.
