Cairanne has become one of the more premium and appealing of the villages in the southern Rhône. It has a range of soils that produce a variety of wine styles. The Arc du Rhône vines are planted on a stony clay soil which gives finesse to the aromatics on the nose and while the flavours on the palate have density and power, they are delivered smoothly that makes for a really approachable wine with impactful fruit. Spot on!
