Arnaldo Rivera is one of Barolo's pioneers for single-vineyard bottlings. Many other producers in this world-class region will blend to a house style using their different parcels from the smaller vineyard sites. Great though they often are, the unique vineyard character can be lost in the process. So, it's great to have Arnaldo Rivera's portfolio to call upon when you want to dig even deeper into the sub-regions of Barolo. Rocche di Castiglione is a great place to start too, with its unique rosemary, thyme and peppercorn aromatics on a deeply floral and plum palate and a fresh, rocky finish.
