Santenay is a region renowned for creating premium Pinot Noir. With its sprawling vineyards surrounding the village, it is here that the winemaker, Oliver Leflaive, saw the potential of the premium Pinot Noir grapes. By taking small parcels from multiple vineyards, he has combined structure, quality of fruit and elegance in this wine. This results in a wine that shows an earthy but fresh nose, which elegantly evolves into fruity glimpses on the palate. An exceptional example of Burgundian Pinot Noir and an excellent addition to any wine rack.

Originally having a career in radio and television, unforeseen circumstances drew Olivier Leflaive back to his family's estate. After working alongside his uncle for many years he decided to branch out and create wines under his own name, selecting grapes from the most prestigious vineyards in Burgundy and beyond to create exceptional wines brimming with fruit character and complexity.
