If you're after the true heart of Champagne, then look no further! The Gobillard family lives mere metres from the grave of Dom Pérignon (the 17th-Century Benedictine monk who was an important quality pioneer for Champagne wine and made Hautvillers the most renowned village of the region). Following decades of hard work the Gobillard family have secured 26 hectares of vines, much of which is Premier Cru that was once owned by the Benedictine Hautvillers Abbey. We're always trying to find little gems like this from small producers that represent great value for money - and this rosé hits the bullseye! The aromas of ripe red berries, freshly baked brioche and delicate blossom burst from the glass with every delicate bubble. On the palate there is superb flavour intensity, as well as the racy acidity that Champagne is renowned for, keeping this wine fresh and balanced - meaning you'll want to come back for another glass time and again.

Thierry Gobillard
Thierry Gobillard is the third generation to take over the family business, alongside his brothers Philippe and Jean-François. His grandfather, Gervais Gobillard, bought his first vineyard of just 1 hectare in 1933 with his meagre savings, situated in Hautvillers - the village of Dom Pérignon. Now they have 26 hectares centred around Hautvillers. Their continued conviction is that Champagne is not just reserved for the "Greats" of this world, but for everyone.
"This wine is made from 1/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Pinot Meunier and 1/3 Chardonnay, and we cellar it for 3 years before release to gain complexity and finesse. The juicy, red summer fruits on the nose are followed on by ripe strawberry and cherry notes on the palate.
