Hand-harvested from the best sites in the Valle Central, he has the wisdom to allow the grape to dictate its own dark, deeply scented and deliciously silky character. Serve with lamb meatballs and tomato sauce or grilled stuffed peppers for the perfect pairing.

Fernando has recently been awarded the Winemaking Merit and now surprises us once again with a special acknowledgement that made him a member of La Cofradia del Vino, an association composed of people who “swear to care about the practices destined to the dissemination, creation, and improvement of the quality of wines”, and is not related with the wine industry as such, but with noble and passionate professionals who appreciate this national product, protecting it uniquely. Their members are nominated for their professional merits and their dedication to the wine world and must be accepted by the majority of its members. Fernando Torres is, undoubtedly, an example of the latter. Wine “runs through his veins”, for he has been 48 years dedicated to it.
