The production of La Serena is almost as small as it gets. This gives owner Andrea the ability to focus solely on the vineyard, where the wine is made. The vines are farmed sustainably and encouraged to ripen to reflect the terroir and the vintage. Tuscany is the home of Sangiovese and the purity that Andrea extracts from Italy's noblest red grape is quite something.
