This is a delicious, blended scotch which is based on the original Lang brothers blend, created back in 1861 after taking the bold step to go from tavern owners to crafting their own brand of blended whisky and by 1869 they had purchased the Burnfoot Distillery, better known today as Glengoyne. The brands and recipes were picked up by multi award-winning distiller Ian Macleod in 2003 and we have teamed up with them to bring them exclusively to you.

In 1861 Gavin and Alexander Lang - Scottish brothers, blenders and whisky merchants - founded their Glasgow venture on the tastes of the spirited folk thronging the city's taverns. Their father owned a pub in the heart of the city and it quickly became known for providing some of the finest drams in the whole of Scotland. Today their brand and blends are taken care of by the family owned distillers, Ian Macleod.
The Perfect Serve The Perfect Serve
Langs simple fizz requires 35ml of Smooth & Mellow. Juice of half a lime, a few mint leaves, torn into small pieces, 3-4 cucumber shavings, cloudy lemonade and 3-4 cubes of ice. Grab your chosen glass - whether you go for a large wine one or a highball - throw in the mint leaves and cucumber peelings. Then add 3 or 4 cubes of ice, pour over the Smooth & Mellow Langs, add the lime juice and fill up with the cloudy lemonade and enjoy.
