The team at The Isle of Wight Distillery are at it again with the release of their new addition to the award-wining Mermaid range. As you'd expect, it looks absolutely magnificent and is a must-have addition to any home cocktail collection! They have masterfully infused a superbly pure vodka with a pinch of locally sourced sea salt and by doing so have added a layer of complexity to the flavour. The Isle of Wight Distillery combine slow distillation, local sustainably sourced ingredients to hand-craft a blended range of award-winning spirits. Working with hand-built custom column stills, the distillation process is tightly controlled, capturing only the 'hearts' of each batch for their signature smooth texture and expressive character-filled spirits.
The Perfect Serve The Perfect Serve
The hint of salt in this unique vodka lends itself to making bold and flavour-packed cocktails. We think it works superbly in a vesper martini! Grab a cocktail shaker and a martini glass. Add a few ice cubes, 60ml of gin, 20ml of Mermaid Salt Vodka and 15ml of extra dry white vermouth. Shake well, strain into your glass and garnish with a twist of lemon.
