The picture-perfect Western Cape boasts everything from hot mineral springs to brandy production and key horse breeding territory. The eclectic finds of this large South African region are interspersed among the perfect conditions for viticulture. Vines forge a path between the cool 'broad' river and welcome shelter from the mountains, keeping the grapes ripe and super fresh. Expect a spectrum of flavours from the Billy Bosch. There is palate-cleansing citrus combined with 'boiled sweet' tropical notes, stone fruits and a dash of honey. Grilled or roasted meats such as pork chops are going to lap up the peach and honey. Deep fried halloumi and roasted courgettes are also a great foil for this Semillon.
